Trip Overview
This trip offers one of the most culturally immersive experiences in Nepal. You celebrate the Holi festival with local families, throw colorful powders, dance to traditional music, and join in the laughter and joy that fills the villages. Children run with colors, elders give blessings, and everyone shares in the lively celebration of life and renewal.
Beyond Holi, you will step into the kitchen with the Newar community and prepare Momo from scratch. You will join the Gurung people in their sacred rituals and walk alongside Buddhist monks as they go about their daily prayers. You will also explore Tharu villages, witness their customs and share meals with local families. Every day unfolds new experiences. You live the culture and become part of the stories rather than just a visitor.
